Occupational Safety &Amp; Health Board To Hear Citation Challenges Nov. 5 In Kenai

KENAI -- The Alaska Occupational Safety and Health Review Board has scheduled a day of hearings in Kenai on Friday, November 5, to consider employer challenges of citations issued by the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

Citations are based on alleged violations of state occupational safety and health standards filed by the Division of Labor Standards and Safety.

The hearings are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. in the Forget-Me-Not Room of the state labor department building, in the Kenai Mall at 11312 Kenai Spur Road.

Advance hearing notices are provided to all parties to contested citations. Board hearings and meetings are open to the public as required by Alaska statute.
